Warwickshire lads David, Stephen and Paul were just about the only Easter tour participants with the energy to join today's ride to Marldon, with the exception of Andrew and Michael of course. David, who had caused major damage to his own bike on the tour, had (perhaps foolishly) been loaned Michael's Dawes in Luke's absence. There was a certain degree of consternation therefore when the levers slipped on the down tube for the first time in several years. Tracks were made for home with all possible haste before he managed to do any more damage.
