This evening we played the new "modded" version of Forged Alliance Forever, first playing a game together against some new AI teams. Everyone except Michael then wanted to play an online game against four unknown players, so we did that and lost easily and totally, mainly because we weren't watching what our opponents were dong and weren't extracting metal fast enough. It demonstrated that people who play all the time online against experienced players learn new techniques that make them an order of magnitude more difficult to beat.
